Wedding and event planner, New York City and New Jersey
The planner who stays in the room.
Lisa Ivler plans high-end weddings, mitzvahs and social and corporate events, and she is personally with you from the first conversation to the last song.
Lisa Ivler Events
Beautifully designed. Quietly managed.
A founder-led studio for people who want one experienced person holding the whole celebration, not a team of strangers and a checklist.
Lisa secures the venue first, then the entertainment, then the photographer. The design comes together with your florist around a palette you choose with her, from the room and the lounges to the linens, the signage and the photo booth. Decisions stay yours. Lisa curates them so the evening reads as one idea.
On the day she adds assistants to match the guest count and how much is happening at once, and she remains the lead. She quietly verifies that everything is progressing as planned and checks the reception room herself before the doors open.
Three ways to work with Lisa

Social & CorporateHow Lisa works
A roadmap built on milestones.
Full-service clients get a plan that runs from a year out to the week of the event. Every milestone is a meeting with Lisa, not a form.
- 12+months outSecure the venue, then the entertainment, then the photographer. These three set the date, the room and the mood of the day.
- 9months outVideography and a hotel room block if you need one. Design and decor begin: a Pinterest board, a venue walkthrough and a working session with your florist or designer.
- 6 & 3months outMilestone reviews with Lisa. Every vendor is confirmed, the details are decided and the guest experience is walked through from arrival to send-off.
- 1final monthThe timeline, written by Lisa. A floor plan if the venue has none, a ceremony diagram, a gratuity guide and insurance certificates collected from every vendor.
- 0event weekFinal meetings, the rehearsal and the day itself. Lisa quietly verifies that everything is progressing as planned and personally checks the reception room setup.

She has strong opinions and great judgement, which we found very helpful in making important decisions. She works hard for her clients and it’s reflective in the outcome!
Lisa Ivler
Founder and event planner.
Lisa founded Lisa Ivler Events in 2016 after four years of planning events, and she is still the person in the room at every one of them. She is a past president of the International Live Events Association, a board member of the Live Events Coalition and a member of WIPA and RSVP.
“I didn’t want to build just another event planning company,” Lisa says. “I wanted to create something deeply personal, where every celebration reflects the people at the center of it, and the planning process feels just as thoughtful as the event itself.”
