About
Lisa Ivler, founder and event planner.
Lisa founded Lisa Ivler Events in 2016, after four years of planning events, and she is still the person in the room at every one of them.
“I didn’t want to build just another event planning company,” Lisa says. “I wanted to create something deeply personal, where every celebration reflects the people at the center of it, and the planning process feels just as thoughtful as the event itself.”
That is why the studio is built around one planner. Lisa is personally available to her clients throughout the process. On the day she adds assistants to match the guest count, the size of the wedding party and how much is happening at once, and she remains the lead.
Her events are in New Jersey, New York City, Westchester, Connecticut and Pennsylvania, with destination weddings by inquiry.

How she works
Judgment, then taste, then a great deal of checking.
- IVendorsLisa recommends people she has worked with, unless another vendor has a very strong reputation. Her priorities, in order: reliability, quality, the working relationship and experience.
- IIDesignCreative direction and coordination. She is not the florist; she is the eye. A Pinterest board, a venue walkthrough and a working session with your florist or designer come first.
- IIIDecisionsClient-led but curated. You are shown fewer, better choices, each already checked against the room, the budget and the timeline.
- IVThe dayShe quietly verifies that everything is progressing as planned and personally checks the reception room setup before the doors open.
