Social and corporate

Celebrations and company events, planned like the occasions they are.

Lisa Ivler Events plans events in New York City, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and beyond: milestone birthdays, Sweet 16s, retirement celebrations, fundraisers, corporate events, showroom openings and galas.

A gala in Times Square

One room, every table a focal point.

A gala at the Edison Ballroom in October 2024, planned by Lisa: tall pink centerpieces on black tables, orchids and floating candles, a gold table number and a menu at every seat, and the evening's name carried from the welcome sign to the stage screen.

The host organization is named only with its permission.

A retirement celebration in Chelsea

A send-off for a founder, planned like a tribute.

A New York architecture firm marked its founder's retirement at Lavan in Chelsea in September 2025. Lisa planned the evening around his work: projections of the firm's buildings and the papers of a long career, a program of speakers and passed hors d'oeuvres instead of a seated dinner.

Fast Company asked Lisa about it for a piece on whether the retirement party is dead. “The entire company, former employees, and family members were invited; it was a wonderful evening that truly captured his legacy.”

A Sweet 16 at the shore

Grown-up glamour for a sixteenth birthday.

Two sisters, one celebration at the Sheraton Eatontown: a black velvet lounge under oversized white paper flowers, a long family table, a lit name on the stage and a snack bar for the end of the night. Social events get the same planning as a wedding, with the timeline, the vendor team and the guest experience walked through in advance.

A showroom opening

Six weeks from a phone call to a ribbon cutting.

A car dealership in Wayne opened its new showroom with a ribbon cutting, a balloon installation in the brand's colors, custom-banded cigars and a cannoli bar. Corporate clients get the same roadmap compressed to the time available, with Lisa managing quotes, approvals and the vendor team so the company can host.

The whole evening went so smoothly, and I got to enjoy the party without any stress or worry. Lisa connected me with great vendors, listened to what we were looking for, and had creative and unique ideas for us.

She helped with everything from venue and vendor selection, catering menu, budget, day-of oversight and general guidance for me given I had not planned an event of this scale before. She was on site for the entire day of and followed up with me after to be sure we closed everything out smoothly.
