Lisa Ivler Events wants everyone to be able to learn about our work and reach us easily, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our standard
We design and test this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we do
- Every photo that carries meaning has a written description.
- Text and buttons meet contrast guidelines, and pages can be zoomed in your browser.
- Everything can be reached with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a "skip to content" link.
- Headings and page regions are marked so screen readers can move around each page.
- The Inquire form has a label on every field and uses the browser's own messages for anything missing.
- Motion is kept to a minimum and respects the "reduce motion" setting on your device.
- We check pages with automated accessibility tools and by hand before changes go live.
Known limitations
Booking a call uses Calendly, a separate service with its own accessibility practices.
