Weddings in New Jersey

New Jersey weddings, from the North Jersey estates to the Shore.

Lisa Ivler Events is based in New Jersey and has planned weddings here for more than a decade: in the glass atrium at Crystal Plaza, on the lawn at The Highlawn, under the colonnade at The Rockleigh and in the gardens at Brooklake and Natirar.

Why a local planner

She has stood in these rooms before.

Knowing a venue changes the planning. Lisa knows which North Jersey ballrooms need a second cocktail space when the guest count passes a certain number, where the light goes at six in June on the Highlawn lawn, how a Crystal Plaza ceremony flows from the atrium to the ballroom and which Shore venues book two summers out.

She also knows the vendors: the florists, lighting companies, bands, DJs and photographers she has worked beside for years. She recommends people she has worked with, unless another vendor has a very strong reputation, and she weighs reliability first.

Full-service planning starts a year or more out. Month-of coordination starts six weeks before the wedding, with Lisa writing the timeline herself.

Questions

Does Lisa plan weddings at the Jersey Shore?

Yes. Lisa plans weddings across New Jersey, including the Shore, where the best summer dates are often booked two seasons ahead. Start the venue search early.

Can Lisa help us choose a venue?

Yes. The venue is the first decision in full-service planning. Lisa helps you shortlist rooms that fit your guest count, your season and the feel you want, and she walks every new venue before she plans in it.

What if we have already booked most of our vendors?

Month-of coordination is for exactly that. It starts six weeks before the wedding: Lisa writes the timeline, prepares the floor plan and ceremony diagram, collects every vendor's insurance certificate, coordinates the final meetings and runs the rehearsal.
